The Jay Community Center has two Homework Help programs available for Jay County students at no charge.

After School Homework Help

Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the school year a homework help lab is open at the center until 5:00 PM. An adult tutor is available for students who need help with their homework. Students who do not need tutoring are also welcome to come to the lab and complete their homework. The lab has several computers with educational software for students to use and a puzzle station. Days and times are subject to change so please contact the center for more details.

No registration or appointment is required.

Evening Homework Help

During the school year, an evening tutor is available for those students who need additional help. These sessions are by appointment only and are on a limited basis. Parents must register their child in advance and have a scheduled appointment for these tutoring sessions.

Registration and appointment in advance are required. No exceptions!

This program is available at no charge due to the generosity of our volunteers and the Jay County United Way. Donations are accepted to purchase educational software, school supplies, and miscellaneous items.
